Part eight of an eight part series

This session will provide a description of digital data storage options (and the pros and cons of each), including: optical media, external hard drives, RAID configurations, servers, HSM environments (online, nearline, offline). Introduction to essential tenets of redundancy and geographic dispersal, as well as basic digital preservation actions such as fixity checks will be included.
